Overview

Process, maintain, and compile acceptance or denial of monthly patient shipments. Provide client service support to Account Management teams. Collect medical documentation and information for patients of 180 Medical in addition to a wide variety of administrative duties.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills with medical professionals at clinics and hospitals
  • Ability to reason, problem solve, and think outside the box
  • Effectively multi-task a variety of issues
  • Good organization skills with the ability to handle changing priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Reliable and dependable with excellent attendance/punctuality

 

        Physical Demands:

 

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally bend and move about the facility.
  • Infrequent light physical effort required.
  • Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and follow up on Medicare patients to ensure shipments don’t go out without a confirmation
  • Call and confirm Medicare orders with customers through call system and via email
  • Assist with other special projects to support company as needed
  • Handle incoming phone calls from clients regarding orders & customer service issues
  • Request Medicare documentation on Medicare clients
  • Contacts medical facilities to obtain cultures and UAs on potential clients
  • Make entries as appropriate in internal database
  • Place and/or change orders in operating system.
  • Handle appropriate follow up with patients
  • Renew insurance prior authorizations
